Jeremiah Silsbe, born July 14, 1983, died June 13, 2009
Jeremiah Silsbe, born July 14, 1983, died June 13, 2009 leaving his daughter, Gabriella (Gabby) Silsbe, two years of age, Gabby’s mother Lindsey Baker, his parents Mr. Danny Silsbe and Ms. Diane Silsbe, step mother Laura Silsbe, brothers Scott Hinson, Daniel Silsbe, step brothers Jose Garcia, Jorge Garcia, sisters Dana Pollan, Jacqueline Silsbe, and step sister Esmerelda Rico.
Jeremiah’s big heart made him one Shelby County’s most liked individuals who loved his family and friends with a unique talent of making all laugh with his witty humor. Graduating from Cordova High School in 2001, and pursued a carrier in the construction business with his father and brother, Daniel, Jeremiah’s carpentry skills and operating heavy equipment earned him the respect of tradesman in the construction industry.
Jeremiah enjoyed spending time with his daughter, riding 4-wheelers with his brother and sister, boating, fishing, and never passed up a good time with his friends, brothers or Dad, spending quality time with his mother and last season goose hunting in Missouri with his father and cousin Kevin Parris.
Jeremiah was one of those guys that would stop and help you when you were broke down on the side of the road and lend his last dollar to those who would need it.
Jeremiah’s funeral will be held June 18 at 12 p.m. at Family Funeral Home, located at 4925 Summer Ave in Memphis at the corner of Summer and Mendenhall.
