Local readers remember their favorite Dr. Seuss book
Readers everywhere celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss
My favorite Dr. Seuss book is The Cat in the Hat. It was fun reading it as a bedtime story for your child. Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss.
Dr. Seuss’ book, Bartholomew and the Oobleck is a favorite of mine. It impresses upon us the great power of some very simple, yet magic words: “I am Sorry” and “It is all My Fault”. I often conjure up the magic recipe for Oobleck straight from the cave on Mystic Mountain Neeka-tave, bringing sheer delight to the children for whom I read the book.
My fafrit Dr. Seuss book is Green Eggs and Ham. I like green eggs and ham becuse it ceps on saing the same words over and over
Sophie Stone, age 7
My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Green Eggs And Ham”. I like that book because it is about someone not thinking they like something and are begged to try it. After trying it they decide they like it.
Shelby Stone, age 13
My favorite Dr. Seuss book is “Fox in Socks”. I like the book because it is a tongue twister. I like tongue twisters because they sound cool.
