  • The 4th Annual Delta Visual Arts Show was a huge success!  Thanks to all our great volunteers, the amazing artists and each and everyone of you who attended the show!  This newsletter will fill you in on a lot of the follow up information on the show!  If you need any more information, feel free to let us know!

    Record Crowd, Record Sales
A record crowd attended the 4th Annual  Delta Visual Arts Show on February 25, 2012 with between 900 and 1,000 people coming through the one day show.  Visitors came from 87 Arkansas communities and from 6 different states to see and purchase original artwork.

The 97 artists sold a total of between $75,000 and $80,000 of art in one day in downtown Newport!  Sales ranged from small items of artwork for $15 to large pieces costing over $1,000.  The largest grossing artist sold over $5,000 in art during the one day sale.

Already, 90 artists have pre-registered for the 5th Annual Delta Visual Arts Show to be held on February 23, 2013.  While the exact number of artist to be accepted is uncertain at this time, we will make the cut based on when registrations come in.

If You Visited the Show, help Us Make It Better.
We are continually working to make the show better.  Each year we ask the artists to complete a survey on the show so that we can make adjustments.

Over 100 people worked to pull off the 4th Annual Show and the effort and care showed in everything that was done.  If you were one of the volunteers, please know how much you are appreciated and what a wonderful success you created!  Thanks for all you did!
