Lady Eagles overpower MVE

Give West Side pitcher Teraka Cowley one or two runs and the Lady Eagles are usually going to win. On Thursday, the Lady Eagles gave Cowley a five-run lead and coasted to a 5-1 win over Mount Vernon-Enola in 1A-2 South conference play in Greers Ferry.

Cowley limited the Lady Warhawks to three hits while striking out seven as the Lady Eagles improved to 10-1 overall and 5-0 in league play.
