  • If seventh-grader Pierce Mitchum continues to work hard and progress at this rate, he could very well blossom into the next Clint Ligon, perhaps mixed with a little Ethan Bly. That’s high praise considering Ligon and Bly are currently playing a large role in helping the Heber Springs senior high track team in their quest for a second straight outdoor state title.
