On August 20, police responded to a report of an angry man entering a local business and allegedly grabbing an employee by the throat and issuing threats. After questioning the 48-year-old Heber man and watching a surveillance recording of the incident, he was arrested and charged with 3rd Degree Battery and Terroristic Threatening.
On August 21, officers responded to a report of a disturbance on W. Main. The resident claimed a 20-year-old Heber man forced his way into the apartment and threatened a woman inside. Police report that the man was attempting to escape out the back of the residence when they arrived. The man allegedly scuffled with police before being arrested. He was charged with Assault on a Family Member, Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest, Public Intoxication, and on an existing warrant.
On August 22, police received a report that storage units were broken into next to Payton Chevrolet.
