Remnants of Isaac could affect Cleburne County

Cleburne County may receive some much needed this rain this week. Tropical Storm Isaac is expected to reach hurricane status as it moves through the Gulf and strikes the coast 7 years to the day that Hurricane Katrina ravaged the region. If Isaac continues on its expected trajectory, heavy rains will probably move through our area Thursday or Friday. The Sun-Times will update our readers further as the week progresses.
