At least 3 arrests made for incidents involving intoxication over the weekend.

On September 7, Heber police responded to a disturbance on Brook Dr. When they arrived at the residence they witnessed two men run to the backyard. When they spoke to the remaining 25-year-old Princeton, TX man in the front yard, he reportedly began swearing and became verbally belligerent with the officers. The man was arrested and placed in the back of the car, where he is alleged to have worked his cuffed hands from behind his back to the front of his body. Police report that the man they caught the cuffed man using his cell phone in the back of the car. He was charged with Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct. Also on September 7, a 28-year-old Malvern, Ark. man was arrested and charged with DWI, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Carrying a Weapon. On September 8, officers responded to a call by a W. Pine resident requesting psychiatric help. When they arrived, they found the 27-year-old Heber man in his front yard and determined he was intoxicated. The man allegedly refused any medical help. Police were called to the residence again by the man who claimed that he was going to "end it all" in the next 30 min. When they arrived at the residence, they placed the man under arrest for Public Intoxication.
