The General Election will be held on November 6 with polls open from 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. Early voting, which is held at the Cleburne County Clerk's office, will begin October 22 from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday. Early voting ends at 5 p.m. November 5. The last day to register to vote in the General Election is October 29. If you registered to vote through the Revenue office but never received a voter registration card, you should check with the County Clerk's office to make sure you are registered. You can also register to vote at the County Clerk's office. If there are no countywide runoff races then only the precinct(s) with a runoff race will be open on November 27 for the Runoff Election. There are only two local races that have three candidates: JP District 4 and Heber Springs Ward 4 Alderman's race. If there is a runoff in the Justice of the Peace District 4 race the following polling locations will be open; Beth-El Chapel, 1004 Hiram Rd., Heber Springs (Sugarloaf Precinct), Ida Fire Station - 339 Center Ridge Road, Ida (East Peter Precinct), Chastain Chapel - 299 Old Hwy. 25, Tumbling Shoals (West Peter Creek Precinct). If there is a runoff in the Heber Springs Ward 4 Alderman's race then the Church of Christ - 1314 West Pine Street, Heber Springs (Ward 4 Precinct) will be open. If there is a tie vote which forces a runoff in any of the other city or county races only their respective precincts will be open on November 27. As soon as a runoff has been determined it will be posted in the paper along with the polling locations that will be open.
