This Friday, October 12, the Sun-Times will be providing a special stand-alone political section in all issues of our print edition. This section will be devoted to informing Cleburne County voters about the candidates and their position on specific issues. This special political section will include answers to questions that were provided to the candidates for the County Judge, County Sheriff, State Representative, and State Senate positions. Statements from local Justice of the Peace and City Council candidates will also be included from those that opted to participate.
Along with statements from local candidates, this section will have local voting information, photos, and sample ballots for readers. The Sun-Times would like to remind readers that early voting begins October 22 and the general election will be held on Tuesday, November 6.
