Juanita Goff, age 84, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012, at the Southridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Heber Springs. Born in Cleburne County on November 4, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Florence (Bennett) Johnston.
A longtime resident of Quitman, Mrs. Goff was a homemaker. Her religious belief was Baptist.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Goff was preceded in death by one son, Larry Goff.
She is survived by her husband, Otis F. Goff of Quitman; two sons, Harry Goff and his wife, Darlene, of Conway and Richard Goff and his wife, Marilyn, of Searcy; two daughters, Patsy Whitaker and her husband, Randy, of Brewer and Carolyn Rowlett and her husband, Donald, of Quitman; two brothers, Jerrell Johnston of Conway and Larry Johnston of Rose Bud; one sister, Annie Sue Rabby of Manila; thirteen grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren. Mrs. Goff is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 8, at Olmstead Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the Olmstead Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bennie Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens. Steven Goff, Micheal Goff, Larry Goff, Jr., Justin Thurman, Dexter McBay, and Stanley Kennedy will serve as pallbearers. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home. www.olmstead.cc
