  • The inaugural On a Mission 5K will take place on November 3 at 8 a.m. at the Heber Springs Dam Site Park.

  • The inaugural On a Mission 5K will take place on November 3 at 8 a.m. at the Heber Springs Dam Site Park.  
    The scenic paved course will have lake views and beautiful fall foliage.  Professional timing will be provided by Arkansas Runner.  All ages are encouraged to participate; age division prizes will be given.  
    All proceeds will benefit local, domestic, and international missions.  This year it will benefit compassionate ministries to children and adults in the inner city of Indianapolis.   “We plan to make this an annual event for the Heber Springs community”, Aaron Lynn, pastor at Heber Springs Church of the Nazarene.
    A registration fee of $25 by October 19th, or $30 after to register for race – includes a t-shirt, goodie bags, refreshments, age division prizes, and a chance to win raffle prizes.   Registration forms can be downloaded from www.heberspringsnaz.org or
    www.arkansasrunner.com. Completed forms and checks can be mailed to Heber Springs Church of the Nazarene PO Box 300 Heber Springs, AR 72543.  Participants can pick up their T-shirts and goodie bags on Friday Nov. 2nd from 4 - 7 p.m. at Heber Springs Church of the Nazarene (206 S. 8th Street) or on race day at the Dam Site Park before the race.
