Heber Springs opens basketball season with 'Madness'

Heber Springs tips off its basketball season with “Panther Madness” on Friday night at Panther Arena.
The event gives fans a chance to come out and see the new teams for the first time as they each hold a public practice, starting with both junior high teams at 6 p.m.

The senior high teams will hold full-scale scrimmages once the junior high teams are finished.
On Saturday, Heber opens its season with benefit games for each team at Cave City. The junior high games begin at 4 p.m. with the senior high games to follow.
