Helena Regional Medical Center recently announced their new director of Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation and Outpatient Rehabilitation Facilities.
Sheryl K. Davis, an Arkansas native from West Memphis who holds a Master's in physical therapy from University of Central Arkansas, brings 13 years experience in physical rehab and advance knowledge in orthopedics to HRMC.
“My interview with Sheryl left me impressed with her vision for our medical center, rehabilitation facility and our community”, stated Sharon Martin, HRMC marketing director.
“My vision for the rehab center is to connect with and provide a premier medical care resource for the community of Helena-West Helena and surrounding counties,” stated Davis. “I want to revitalize a sense of hometown pride for Helena Regional Medical Center, all its services, both inpatient and outpatient. Most important, I want the community to feel secure about trusting HRMC's inpatient rehab with their family member's recovery.
HRMC's Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is committed to rebuilding independence in lives by accomplishing it through: goal-oriented philosophy of treatment built upon dedication to positive results, custom-designed treatment plans, family and patient education to build a bridge from hospital to home, nursing and staff ratios adjusted to patient needs and home evaluations for community re-entry.
Sheryl welcomes you to come and see the benefits to having therapy right here at home, by taking a look at what the HRMC's AIRU has to offer. She welcomes you to give her a call for a tour of the facility at 816-3961.
“It is exciting and heart-warming to have another Delta native come support our strategies and goals for this community,” commented Martin.
