  • The Garrett Memorial Christian School Saints prevailed for a two point win 56-54 against Embassy on last Thursday night for senior high basketball action at the GMCS Gymnasium.

  • The Garrett Memorial Christian School Saints prevailed for a two point win 56-54 against Embassy on last Thursday night for senior high basketball action at the GMCS Gymnasium. In the game, Saints' Mason Moses led the way posting 18 points, Seth Foster nailed 11 points, Justin Fielder and Dylan Ripley both scored 10 points apiece to round out double-digit scoring for Garrett. Head coach Shawn Caldwell thought this win was very impressive and proud of the determination by his Saints' fight to be victorious over a tough Embassy team on the hardwood. The win gives the Saints a 4-3 overall record and 2-1 in conference play. After the Thanksgiving break, the Saints and the Lady Saints (6-1) return for more hoop action for three days of competition at home. Monday, November 26, the Saints will hosting Trinity for senior high boys play, then Tuesday November 29, all GMCS hoop teams host CMA, and Thursday, November 29 they'll face Columbia Christian at GMCS Gymnasium.
