HSHS holds crisis plan drill

On November 20, Heber Springs High School held a crisis plan drill to train teachers and staff on proper procedure should an unfortunate incident ever occur. Students, staff, and police participated in a real-time role-play scenario in which an armed, disgruntled person entered the school and roamed the halls. The "intruder" eventually locked himself in a room in the school and police played out the scenario of apprehending him. Heber Springs officer Stacy Dolan played the "intruder".
