Mary Pauline Schrimsher, age 71, of Pangburn, Arkansas, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012, at the White County Medical Center in Searcy. Born in Steele, Missouri, on May 10, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Eugene and Florence Clayton Maxwell.
Mrs. Schrimsher was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as quilting, sewing, working in her garden, and cooking meals for the seniors at the Pangburn Senior Center. She was a charitable person that loved animals and took in and cared for many of her family and children and was a member of the Wilburn Community Church.
Mrs. Schrimsher was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Bill Maxwell; and her sisters, Madeline James, Jean Russell, Rebecca Hallard, Betty Weldon, Laun Stanford, and Linda Puddicomb.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Schrimsher of Pangburn; two sons, Johnny Schrimsher and his wife, Robin, of Heber Springs and Jerald Schrimsher and his wife, Kandee, of Paragould; one brother, Thomas Maxwell of Rockford, Illinois;
and two grandchildren, Bard McMillian and Jay Webster. Mrs. Schrimsher is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 26, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 2:00 p.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Bro. Bobby Woodall officiating. Interment will follow in the Magness Cemetery. Jessie Langley, Dick Rosenburger, Jerry Lamar, Ron West, Jerry Allen, and Gary Tayler will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Doug Pierce.
