The Heber Springs Payton Chevrolet Holiday Classic, originally scheduled for a Thursday tip-off, has been pushed back to Friday.
The tournament will be cut down by one day with first-round games starting at 11 a.m. Friday and second-round games to follow on Saturday. Unfortunately due to Tuesday night's inclement winter weather, the final round has been cancelled.
Due to rules set by the Arkansas Activities Association, games can't be played on Sunday, and Monday is not an option with many of the schools travelling a long distance to reach Heber Springs.
“Odds are we probably won't play a third round,” said Lady Panthers' Coach Jamey Riddle. “We have some many teams coming from so far away that it just doesn't look feasible.”
