Jason F. Shaw, age 37, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Heber Springs. Born November 29, 1975, in Heber Springs, he was the son of Tommy Farrell and Eva Sue (Jackson) Shaw.
Jason was a graduate of Quitman High School and had worked as a disc jockey for radio station KAWW. He was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
Jason was a loving son to his parents, Tommy F. and Eva Sue Shaw of Quitman, who love him dearly. He is also survived by his cousins and many friends.
Visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 12, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 13, at 2:00 p.m. at the Palestine Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Lindley officiating. Interment followed in the Pearson Cemetery. Larry Shaw, Darrin Shaw, Randy Shaw, Jeffrey Shaw, Donnie Fowler, and Harrison Bailey served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Swensen Bailey and Lonnie Fowler. Arrangements were by Olmstead Funeral Home. www.olmstead.cc
