Library will temporarily be house in old post office location during the construction of the new library
The Cleburne County Library issued the following press release:
In preparation for the construction of our new library facility, the Cleburne County Library will be closed beginning January 21. We will remain closed until we complete our move into our temporary facility, located at 102 E. Main, which was most recently used as the District Court building and is known locally as "the old post-office." The move is expected to take a maximum of four weeks, but we hope to complete the move in less time. We will update the progress of the move and construction through local news outlets and the Cleburne County Library Facebook page.
The Library ask that if you have materials out on loan, that you keep those materials and return them after the move is completed. Over-due fees that occur as a result of the move will be waived. The Library also asks our patrons to please be patient with us during this transitional phase and understand that this is only a temporary facility. We apologize for any inconvenience, but this is a necessary step in the process of building a new and better library facility for all the residents of Cleburne County. Thank you all for your continued support of the Cleburne County Library.
