Update: The medical examiner report from the Arkansas State Crime Lab could come as early as Monday afternoon in the DePriest case, according to Bill Sadler, public information officer with the Arkansas State Police.

The Arkansas State Police have released the names in the shooting that took place just outside Stuttgart Wednesday night.

The bodies of Thomas DePriest, 46, and Debbie DePriest, 45, have been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab after law enforcement officials responded to their home on DePriest Lane at approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Arkansas County Sheriff Allen Cheek said his department responded to the area and pronounced the husband and wife dead inside their home.

Both individuals had a single gunshot wound.

Cause of death will be determined by the Arkansas State Crime Lab. The investigation has been turned over to the Arkansas State Police, according to Cheek.

Cheek further explained saying robbery was not a motive behind the deaths.

Bill Sadler, public information officer for the Arkansas State Police, said, as of Friday morning, there was no new information to release in the case and no results have been returned from the Arkansas State Crime Lab.
