  • Derrik Fisher of Heber Springs signed his national letter of intent to play football on scholarship at Arkansas Tech on National Signing Day Wednesday at the field house.

  • Derrik Fisher (front, center) of Heber Springs signed his national letter of intent to play football on scholarship at Arkansas Tech on National Signing Day Wednesday at the field house. Fisher was accompanied by his parents, Janet and Keith Fisher, family friends Kevin Roy and Tony Davis (not pictured), Coach Steve Janski (far left) and his teammates, including Wade Gilbrech, Jason Hammons, Nate Hills and Harley Hooten. Fisher, who earned Class 4A All-state honors and will represent Heber Springs in the Arkansas All-Star game, chose to sign with the Wonder Boys over Ouachita Baptist.
