Alvenia (Nadine) Wolf, age 89, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Southridge Village Nursing Home in Heber Springs. Born in Washington County, Kansas, on November 9, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Paul Herman and Otha Ethel (Schofield) Bell.
Mrs. Wolf had lived in Heber Springs since 1970 and entered Southridge Village Nursing Home in 2009. She was a retired registered nurse, having worked as Director of Nursing at Lakeland Lodge and Geriatrics Nursing Home in Heber Springs.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wolf was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Lyle Wolf, who passed away September 11, 1992, and a sister, Kathleen Spielman.
She is survived by three sons, Charles Wolf and his wife, Juanita, of Heber Springs, Scott Wolf and his wife, Wendey, of Fairfax, Virginia, and William Wolf and his wife, Sandy, of San Antonio, Texas; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wolf is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 22, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 23, at 10:00 a.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Bro.
