Every week it is hard for me to decide what piece to put on the blog, I have so many to choose from.  This week I hope to attract all of the elephant lovers, I probably have 8-10 different elephants.  I have heard that elephants have a good memory.  I know my granddaughter, India rode an elephant at the circus when she was about five years old and that was all she talked about for a very long time.  So this piece is for her.

1. Basecoat entire piece with dark grey. Antique with black antiquing doing a small area at a time and wiping back with a soft cloth.
2. Drybrush elephants with dark grey, light grey, cream, and highlight with white.
3. Paint eyes white, iris real brown, and pupils black.  Place a white highlight in each eye.
4. Blush cheeks and inside of ears with rose and petal pink mixed in your brush, if you want the color lighter add a little white.
5. Paint toenails and tusk cream.
6. Paint tongue true red.
7. Paint base black. 
8. Dry brush rock areas with fog, light grey and highlight lightly with white.
9. Dry brush grass areas with shadow green, grass green and lightly with citrus green.
10. Spray with matt sealer.  When dry paint hi-gloss sealer on eyes and tongue.
