  • Lee Roy Adcock, age 83, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, at White County Medical Center in Searcy. Born in Friendship, Arkansas, on July 13, 1929, he was the son of the late Richard and Dollie Mae (Cook) Adcock.
    Mr. Adcock was a retired carpenter and had driven the senior citizens bus. A lifetime resident of Cleburne County, he loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
    In addition to his parents, Mr. Adcock was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil Adcock and Charley Adcock, and one sister, Bertha Thacker.
    He is survived by one sister, Bessie Ritter of Heber Springs and his nieces and nephews. Mr. Adcock is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.
    Visitation will be held Thursday, March 21, at Olmstead Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held Friday, March 22, at the South Cross Roads Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kenneth Rolland, Jr. officiating. Jim Cook, Stephen Tompkins, Eddy Light, Ray Ritter, Gary Thacker, and Terry Thacker will serve as pallbearers.
