    applications for the regular winter Low Income Home Energy Assistance
    Program (LIHEAP) after March 28, 2013.

  • The Community Action Program for Central Arkansas will no longer accept
    applications for the regular winter Low Income Home Energy Assistance
    Program (LIHEAP) after March 28, 2013. Crisis applications will continue
    until those funds are depleted. To qualify for Crisis LiHEAP, you must have
    a disconnect notice with a disconnect date within seven days of the
    application date.
    In order to apply for crisis assistance, all interested applicants must
    provide a disconnect notice, proof of all household income for the previous
    month for all household members 18 years of age or older, proof or lack of
    child support for all single parent households from OCSE. If a household has
    not had income during the previous month, they must obtain a History of
    Claims from the Arkansas Workforce Center, CAPCA contribution and collateral
    statement. Social security numbers and birthdates for all household members
    are required. Failure to provide verification requested may result in delay
    or denial of assistance. No determination can be made until all requested
    information has been received. For more information, call your local CAPCA
