Audra M. Hipp, age 85, of Prim, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, at the Southridge Village Nursing and Rehab Center in Heber Springs. Born in Prim on April 13, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel (Lewallen) Hines.
Mrs. Hipp was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Prim. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her religious belief was of the Holiness faith, and she was a member of the Prim Free Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ernie Hipp; one grandson, Dustin Brown; one granddaughter, Stacy Stair; and one brother, Cecil Hines.
Mrs. Hipp is survived by her husband, Juel Hipp of Prim; six children, Anna Geiger and her husband, Earnest, Delma Carlton and her husband, Tony, Janice Verser,
Rhonda Davis and her husband, Marvin, Neva Hipp, and Terry Hipp and his wife, Regina, all of Prim; one sister, Patsy Verser and her husband, Y.B., of Prim; fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Mrs. Hipp is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Visitation was held Friday, March 22, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home. Funeral services were Saturday, March 23, at 10:00 a.m. in the Olmstead Chapel with Bro. Vernon Auld and Bro. Darrell Norvell officiating. Special music recorded by her grandchildren will be played. Interment followed in the Everett Cemetery. Gentry Hipp, Jeremy Stair, Benjamin Hipp, Madison Spalding, Bryce Geiger, and Kevin Orrell served as pallbearers. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home. www.olmstead.cc
