Lois Taylor died March 25, 2013

  Lois Taylor, age 103, died peacefully at her home on March 25, 2013.  She was born to David W. Magness and Connie Crook Magness east of Heber Springs, Arkansas, on July 15, 1909.  She was a teacher for 42 years in Cleburne and White Counties.  She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tom Taylor; and a son, Edd David Taylor; also by nine brothers and sisters, Robert Magness, Amy Moore, Guy Magness, Trecil Henderson, Lowell Magness, Ivyle Magness, Cramer Magness, Daryl Magness, Mary Sue Carnihan; and a great-great granddaughter, Scarlet Elizabeth Ferguson.
     She is survived by two brothers, Grimm Magness and Keith Magness of Okemah, Oklahoma;
and a sister, Ruth Cook of Puyallup, Washington.   She is also survived by
her daughter, Anne Bechdoldt; three grandchildren, Tom Bechdoldt of Heber Springs, Beth Bechdoldt of Batesville, and Jim Edd Bechdoldt of Batesville. She is survived by six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
     Visitation was held Thursday, March 28, beginning at 12:00 noon  in the Olmstead Chapel and funeral services followed at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Dr. J. R. DeBusk.   Interment followed in Cleburne County Memorial Gardens.  Tom Bechdoldt, Thomas Bechdoldt, James David Beckdoldt, James Edd Beckdoldt, Jody Taylor, and Darrell Williams served as pallbearers.
