John Harvard’s Brewery & Ale House in Framingham and Cambridge has released a new beer to help raise money for cystic fibrosis.

Sean’s Brew is a “spring-inspired special beer” that will be brewed and sold at all of John Harvard locations (including Union Station in Rhode Island). The money raised, $1 from each pint sold, will go directly to the Cystic Fibrosi Foundation.

“John Harvard’s has a long history of working with the CFF on the local level,” said John Harvard’s Vice President of Operations Tre Lucas. “This year, we decided to get together and expand our efforts to all four John Harvard’s locations. Sean is the son of our good friend Bill Squires. He is an amazing kid whose dedication to living a full life despite the obstacles brought on by cystic fibrosis is a true inspiration to us. Bill and his family have been tirelessly raising money for the CFF for years and we are proud to join the fight.”

The beer is currently available. I’ll have to make a trip to the Framingham location next week and give it a try.
