Richard LeParmentier, the actor who “has the distinction of being the first actor telekinetically throttled by Darth Vader on-screen for his disturbing lack of faith" has died, according to CNN. The above statement, from LucasFilm, highlights LeParmentier’s small but memorable role in “Star Wars.” LeParmentier played Admiral Motti in the film, and acted in a variety of other films as well.
