Weather is a strange thing,
It is never what you seek.
It rains for a planned picnic,
And snows on spring break week.
God gets the blame,
For weather people think is bad.
But I am not sure you realize,
This kind of thinking, makes Him sad.
Love does not send destructive winds,
To blow a home away.
Give the devil the credit he deserves,
For he is the one who will ruin your day.
“All good and perfect gifts come from above.” *
The good is sent by God.
If the weather is not to your liking,
It was the devil that robbed.
The devil sent winds that were boisterous,
Jesus spoke and calmed the sea. **
He said greater works will you do, ***
Was he talking to you and me?
This is something we should ponder,
If the Word of God is true.
“With God all things are possible,” ****
And I think Jesus knew.
