Lucille Wildman, 93, of Hopewell went home to be the Lord on Saturday, June 22, 2013. She was born January 18, 1920 to Robert and Eva Boyd in Lonestar, Arkansas. Lucille had a green thumb and always wanted to make things for other people. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Her strong will was the driving force that helped her to accomplish the many tasks that she had set out to do.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Cecil Wildman; two sons, Melvin Alvin “Bud” Wildman and Jimmy Lee Wildman; three grandchildren; her parents; one sister; and three brothers.
Lucille is survived by her children: Wilma Faye Wildman of Hopewell, Laveta “Pete” (Gerald) Laferney of Cabot; Melvis (Jim) Moorhouse of Russellville; Martha (Bobby) Hopkins of Heber Springs; Billy Joe “Jody” (Karen) Wildman of Heber Springs; and JoAnn (Ronnie) Edwards of Heber Springs; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one cousin, Myrtle Mae Penrod of Greenbrier; one special nephew, Ron (Josephine) Wildman; and many more relatives and friends.
