Mrs. Peggy Graves Hill, age 82, of Heber Springs, formerly of Forrest City, died Sunday at the Southridge Nursing Home in Heber Springs. She had been in poor health for the past two years.
Mrs. Hill was born February 19, 1931,in Kennett, Missouri, and was the daughter of Lawrence Graves and Mary Lavinia Masters Graves Astin. She lived in Forrest City until moving to Heber Springs in 1990, was retired from General Industries, and was member of the Sugarloaf Baptist Church in Heber Springs.
Mrs. Hill married Hackler M, Hill in 1948, and he preceded her in death in 2011. She is survived by two daughters; Lynn Lee and Judy Scott, both of Heber Springs, five brothers, Carroll Astin and Darrell Astin, both of Forrest City, Lawrence Graves, Morris Graves, and Bruce Graves, all of Missouri, four sisters, Shirley Montgomery of Hope, Becky Terrell of Fayetteville, Myra Spauffer and Lisa Graves, both of Missouri, five grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Hill were at the Sugarloaf Baptist Church, Heber Springs on July 16 with burial in Heber Springs Cemetery in Heber Springs.
