Concord senior Luke Cornett fired an 18-hole round of 77 on Monday at Drasco's Tannenbaum Golf Club, leading the 1A defending state champion Pirates to their fourth consecutive 1A-2 District championship.
Playing on familiar grounds at Tannenbaum, which Concord shares with rival West Side and tournament host Shirley, the Pirates finished with a three-player tally of 271, edging the Eagles (275) by four strokes.
Following Cornett's medalist round, freshman Jacob Webb holed out with an 89 and sophomore TJ Richardson shot a round of 105.
West Side qualified for state by finishing second as Tyler Cowley and Austin Gray led the way, both finishing with a score of 89. Hayden Gilmore added a total of 97 for the Eagles and Ben Hargrove (98) also competed in the tournament.
Midland (283) placed third in front of fourth place Bruno-Pyatt (298) and fifth place Shirley (372).
Concord and West Side both advance to the 1A State Tournament, which will be held Wednesday, Oct. 9 at Turkey Mountain in Horseshoe Bend.
West Side's Lady Eagles finished runner-up in the district tournament to qualify for the 1A State Tournament to be held Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Cooper's Hawk in Melbourne.
The Lady Eagles finished with a three-player total of 368 as Sydney Phillips led the way with a round of 120, Emily Southerland followed with a score of 122 and Carra Duncan holed out at 126. Destiny Cowley (137) also competed for West Side.
Shirley won district behind medalist Kylie Phillips (91), Nikki Owen (95) and Marianna Larson (134).
Concord's Maghin England (141) and Erin Hendricks (145) competed individually at district.
