    Cave City jumped out to a 23-6 after one quarter of play as McSpadden poured in eight points and Bacon added seven, while towering center Joe Patterson chipped in four.
    After Heber guard Pierce Mitchum passed ahead to forward Garrett Alaniz for an uncontested layup, Cave City took control with an 8-0 run, which culminated with a three-pointer from guard Ruston Wooldridge.
    Guard Hayden Dearmond responded with a 19-foot bank shot for the Junior Panthers before the Junior Cavemen blitzed Heber 8-2 in the final two minutes of the first period.
    Cave City outscored Heber 17-6 in the second quarter behind seven points from Bacon, while forward Jaden Johnson gave the Jr. Panthers a lift with four points in the period.
    Trailing 40-12 at halftime, Dearmond banked home a three-pointer in the opening minute of the third quarter and guard Cameron Brock added two buckets, including a three-pointer as Heber pulled within 20, but Cave City closed the third quarter with 12-0 run, starting with two quick steals by Bacon, who turned both into layups.
    With the clock rolling non-stop in the fourth quarter, Heber outscored Cave City 9-2 as Mitchum hit a midrange jumper from right baseline, guard Tyler Andrews ripped a three-pointer from right wing and forward Dawson Melrose scored four straight, including a difficult bank shot followed by a tough driving layup in the closing seconds.
    Bacon paced Cave City with 22 points, McSpadden added 15 and Wooldridge chipped in eight.
    Dearmond and Mitchum each scored six points to lead Heber and Brock followed with five, while Melrose and Johnson each had four.
