The first signs of autism may be visible as early as the first month of a child's life, according to a study published Nov. 6 in the scientific journal Nature, CNN Health reports. Researchers followed 110 children from birth to age 3, at which point a diagnosis of autism was ascertained. Fifty-nine babies were considered "high risk" for developing an autism spectrum disorder because they had siblings with autism; 51 were considered "low risk" because they did not have first-, second- or third-degree relatives with ASD.

8: Tabata intervals can be incorporated into riding a bike, running, using your body weight, doing plyometrics and strength training. A Tabata interval consists of eight cycles of 20-second all-out effort, followed by 10 seconds of recovery. This cycle takes roughly four minutes. Start with a one-minute functional warm-up; do two Tabata intervals in a row and end with a one-minute cool down.
