  • A Phillips County woman faces burglary and theft of property charges in connection with a residential break-in in rural Phillips County. According to an incident report filed by the Phillips County Sheriff's Office, Christopher Holland reported someone broke into his home and stole all of his medication, a pair of boots and a cell phone. Entry was gained through the front door. The incident occurred on Nov. 12. In the report, Holland told Sheriff's deputies that he received a phone call from John Robertson who told Holland that Lauren Sellers called Robertson from Holland's phone. Holland stated that he later saw Sellers at the Corner Market and got his phone back. The incident report adds Holland told deputies that he looked at his cell phone and noted several text messages and numbers that he did not recognize, starting from the day his home was burglarized. The Helena-West Helena Special Crimes Unit picked up Sellers on a traffic stop in the South 5th Street area. Sellers has been charged with residential burglary, a Class D felony and theft of property, a Class A misdemeanor. She was transported to the Cross County Jail in Wynne. Her bond was set at $22,500.
