Blanche Myrick died January 28, 2014

Blanche Vernice Hutchins Myrick, daughter of the late Lester Hutchins and Audie Smith Hutchins, was born March 1, 1937 in Melbourne, Arkansas. She departed this life January 28 ,2014 in Searcy, Arkansas at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 28 days. She was united in marriage to James Earl Myrick on June 5, 1957 in Harrison, Arkansas and to this union four children were born. She spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. She was of the Assembly of God faith and a member of First Assembly of God in Pangburn.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years: James Myrick of the home; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Tim Myrick of White County, Arkansas and James Lester and Kim Myrick of Madison County, Arkansas; two daughters and one son-in-law: Tammy Hathaway of Heber Springs and Jeana and Tony Cox of Letona, Arkansas; one brother Lester Carl Hutchins of Rosebud; two sisters: Bonnie Davidson of Heber Springs and Jennie Haughaboo of Little Rock; six grandchildren: T. J. Myrick, Jessica Husky, Robin Myrick, Mattie Hathaway, Rachael Hardin and Sully Cox; four great grandchildren: Hayden Stark, Hannah Armes, Trever Myrick and Tonilynn Husky and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Verna Huffman.

Funeral service was Friday, January 31, at Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with Charles Taylor officiating. Burial was at Combs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation was, January 31.

Pallbearers: R. H. Smith, John Smith, Charles Smith, Toby Smith, Mark Smith and Dean Hutchins.

Honorary Pallbearer: T. J. Myrick and Sully Cox.
