  • Pangburn roped seven home runs, including six in the fourth inning on its way to a 14-6 victory over Tuckerman on Thursday at Pangburn City Park.
    Alec Bourgeois led Pangburn, which has scored 34 runs in its past two wins. Bourgeois finished 2 for 2 with two home runs and 4 RBI.
    Hunter Poe was 2 for 3 with a home run and 3 RBI, while Mickey Ivey and Chase Hopkins each hit a home run and drove home two runs.
    Brady Anderson added a home run and double and Noah Haile (2 for 4) also contributed two hits, including a home run.
    Hopkins picked up the win, limiting the Bulldogs to four hits while striking out eight in five innings of work. Bourgeois relieved Hopkins in the sixth and closed out the game by holding Tuckerman hitless with two strikeouts in two innings.
    After hosting Salem today, the Tigers (7-6, 5-4) welcome White County Central on Thursday.
