It's time once again for the Cleburne County Fair

It’s time once again for the Cleburne County Fair.  Among the traditional offerings of the fair, this year will see the addition of two new events for attendees.  A miniature bull-riding contest will take place Friday and Saturday evenings.  Also new this year will be the NCA District Fair Rodeo Queen Contest, which will take place on Saturday at 10am.  Here are a few highlights from this year’s Cleburne County Fair:


Thursday (Senior Citizens Day)

Senior Pie Contest (10am)

Bingo for fun (11am)

Entertainment for seniors (noon)

Pioneer contest (1pm)

Goat show, sheep show, swine show (starting at 4pm)


Friday (School Bus and Youth Day)

All school bus riders get free admission

Dairy cattle and beef cattle shows (beginning at 5pm)

4-H Rainbow Poultry Chain Auction (7:30pm)

Miniature Bull (8pm)



Goat milking contest (9am)

NCA District Fair Rodeo Queen Contest (10am)

Goat and owner costume contest, followed by the Goat Scramble, Hula Hoop, and Stick Horse Race (2pm)

Beautiful Bunny/Handsome Rooster/Chicken Bingo (5pm)

Rodeo Queen Coronation (7:30pm)

Miniature Bull (8pm)
