Jeff and Michelle Toliver recently bought Cornerstone Title from R.D. and Patsy Wilkinson. Jeff is from Heber Springs and has recently been trying to figure out how to spend more time here and reinvest in the community that did so much for him in the past. He and wife, Michelle, who is from Little Rock, began to look at business opportunities in the area a couple of years ago. He heard from a local realtor that a title business might be for sale.

Immediately this sparked their interest because Michelle comes from three generations of family who owned title companies or worked in the business. Michelle has 20 years experience herself. After discovering that R.D. and Patsy Wilkinson owned Cornerstone Title and Escrow, Jeff says, “I became even more excited! I knew R.D. from my younger days, having grown up with his sons.” After many meetings and months of thought they closed on the purchase of Cornerstone Title and Escrow Services effective July 1st.

“We are very blessed to be a part of such a successful business and tradition that the Wilkinsons have put into place. R.D. and Patsy have worked tirelessly through the years to make Cornerstone a well-known name for all real estate closing needs. Continuing on that tradition and further developing our relationships in Cleburne County will be our #1 goal.” Jeff said.

They are very grateful to be inheriting a wonderful staff. The expertise along with over 100 years combined experience in the title business,  they  are equipped to handle anything. R.D. will be retiring in the near future, but Patsy has agreed to stay onboard and manage the office.

Jeff went on to say, “I can't say enough about Patsy and the many hours she has put forth in the transition. Her dedication to us and Cornerstone is something Michelle and I will never forget.”

They have hired Karen Giles as a new closer. They are finding out that everyone knows Karen from her many years at the courthouse. Having served in multiple roles over 37 years at the courthouse, Karen will be a true asset for Cornerstone.

The Tolivers welcome the community to drop in and say hi and look forward to serving the Heber Springs Community for years to come.
