On Thursday, February 22nd, Garreco, LLC was recognized at the 30th Annual Arkansas Business of the Year Awards which was held at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. Garreco, a leading producer of dental gypsum, abrasive products, and supplies for the dental laboratory, was named a finalist for Arkansas Business of the Year Category II (31-55 Employees). Although the company did not take home the award, Garreco was honored with some of the top businesses, executives, and non-profit groups in the state.
“Although we did not win an Arkansas Business of the Year award, we were honored to be recognized as a finalist,” said the company’s CEO, Bob O’Neal. “Our team has been working hard to continue to grow Garreco and being a finalist for the Arkansas Business of the Year Awards helps us to increase our exposure around the state and the country.”
Winners of the Arkansas Business Award included Tacos 4 Life, CapSpire Inc., Chenal Family Therapy PLC, and Swift Travel Deals, with Danny Ford of Glen Sain Motors being named the Business Executive of the Year. The EAST Initiative won Nonprofit Organization of the Year and Todd Herman of the Arkansas Arts Center was awarded the Nonprofit Executive of the Year Award.
