Three people were sent to the hospital Wednesday after the home they were in was blown apart by a suspected tornado around 9:30 p.m.
The people were in a house and a manufactured home on Sawmill Road South that were completely destroyed. Approximately three vehicles were also damaged. Two family dogs were killed.
Three horses from a nearby field escaped when the fence containing them was damaged in the storm. They were caught and placed in a different fenced in area.
A reported one-vehicle accident is also being blamed on the suspected twister. One man in the truck was taken to Baptist Heber after his vehicle either hit a tree or was hit by a tree on Hwy 107 South (Stacy Springs Road South).
With the exception of several trees and a few power lines being downed, no additional damage was reported.
