Emily Catherine Keeter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael D. Reese of Frisco, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. G. Lane Keeter, Jr. of Heber Springs, Ark. was married April 22nd to Devin Scott Wells, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Cornett of Tumbling Shoals, Ark. and Mr. and Mrs. Darrin Wells of Drasco, Ark.
The ceremony was performed at Verona Villa in Frisco, Texas by Rev. James Dearmond of New Life Church in Heber Springs.
Ashten Danielle Umphenour of Dallas served as the bride’s Maid of Honor. Miss Keeter was also accompanied by her Bridesmaids Lauren Elizabeth Lee of Conway, Ark., Sarah Ashley Revin of Rogers, Ark., and Megan Parks DuBose of Dallas. The bride’s sister, Chancey Grace Keeter served as the Flower Girl.
The groom was accompanied by his Best Man, Justin Womack Bruno of Corvallis, Ore. and his Groomsmen Chastin Payne Hunt of Washington, D.C., Hugh Daniel Baker of Houston, and Brian Edward DuBose of Dallas. The bride’s brothers, Michael Dylan Reese, Jr., George Lane Keeter, III, and Andrew Joseph Reese served as the Ushers.
The bride’s gown was a formal A-line silhouette with an illusion sweetheart neckline from the Stella York collection. The gown featured an embellished bodice of ivory beaded lace, with French tulle flowing from the natural waist into a chapel length train. The back closure, also illusion, was enhanced with round fabric-covered buttons.
The cathedral style veil, a Chancey family heirloom worn by many generations, was handmade with Brussels lace. The bride was also adorned by a diamond bracelet that belonged to her late grandmother, Bette Chancey Keeter. She carried a bouquet of escimo roses, white ranunculus, and panda anemones, accented with silver dollar eucalyptus.
The bride and groom honeymooned in Barbados and will reside in Dallas.
