The Heber Springs City Council meets the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at city hall.
The Concord School Board meets the last Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the High School Library.
The Quorum Court meets the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at County Judge's office.
The Quitman School Board meets the third Monday of each month.
The Quitman City Council meets the second Monday of each month.
The Greers Ferry City Council meets second Tuesday of each month.
The Seven Springs chapter of the Arkansas State Employees Association (ASEA) will meet on December 11 at 12 p.m. at the Rustic Inn in Heber Springs.
Democratic Women of Cleburne County will hold their monthly business meeting will be held on Saturday December 13 in the Community room of the Municipal Building at 10 a.m. Officers for 2009 will be elected and will be installed at the January meeting. A support group is offered for those who are or have experienced domestic abuse. Members sit back and listen or join in conversation. A confidentiality agreement is signed at each meeting. The group meets every first and third Monday night at 5 p.m. Babysitter is available upon request. Call 362-6757 for details.
The Little Red River Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will meet in Indian Hills Country Club in Fairfield Bay on December 12 at noon. Lone Star Baptist Church will host the Little Red River Baptist Association’s annual Men and Boys Wild Game Supper on Saturday, December 13 at 6:30 p.m. This event is open to the public.
