DAR to Meet
The Little Red River Chapter of the NSDAR will meet on February 13 in Searcy. The meeting will be held at the College Church of Christ, 712 E. Race. Humane Society to Meet
The Heber Springs Humane Society Membership meeting will be held on Thursday, February 19, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Municipal Building.
Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group to Meet
Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group-Heber Springs chapter meets the 1st Tuesday each month, 6:30 pm at Red River Physical Therapy in the Cornerstone Square Building. Respite care is available during the meeting. Contact Wendy 362-7025 for more info.
Domestic Abuse Support Group
A support group is offered for those who are or have experienced domestic abuse. Members sit back and listen or join in conversation. A confidentiality agreement is signed at each meeting. The group meets every first and third Monday night at 5 p.m. Babysitter is available upon request. Call 362-6757 for details.

Heber BPW to Meet
Heber Springs Business and Professional Women will hold its February meeting on the 19th at 5:30 p.m. at the Housing Authority on Park and Spring Streets. Winifred Stamps, AR/BPW Treasurer will be the guest speaker for the evening. There will be a silent auction to raise money for scholarships for the State Foundation. BHMC-HS Auxiliary to Meet
Baptist Health Medical Center-Heber Springs Auxiliary meets the third Tuesday of each month at 2:30 p.m. in the hospital cafeteria. Community Action Program tor Centras Arkansas (CAPCA) will hold a Public Hearing Thursday , February 19, at 2 p.m. It will be held at the CAPCA Administrative Office- 707 Robins Suite 118, Conway. Fat Tuesday Chili Supper
Holiday Hills United Methodist will celebrate Fat Tuesday, February 24, with their annual chili supper from 4-7 p.m. Tickets will be $5 for adults and $2.50 for children. There will also be take-out orders. Tickets can be obtained by calling the Church office at 825-7301 or from any member of the congregation. The following day, February 25 will be Ash Wednesday and there will services at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited.

Valentine Dinner Theater
Hope Lutheran Church presents “Love is in the Air II”, a Valentine dinner theater to benefit the Christian Health Center. A host of musical guests will perform. The event will be held on Saturday, February 14. Cost is $20 per person. Appetizers and silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. Call 362-6544 or 362-6161 for reservations. Mardi Gras
Mardi Gras II will be held at St. Albert Catholic Church Hall on Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $8, please call Eva Bissionette (250-0194) to reserve tickets. There will be fun, food, fellowship and live music by Fred Prentice's Group. Come celebrate.

Red Barn Dance Now Open Four Nights A Week
The Red Barn is now open four nights a week. Join in for music and dancing at The Red Barn every Tuesday from 7 - 10 p.m., senior moments from 7-9 p.m. and open mic from 9 - 10 p.m., Thursday night from 7 - 10 p.m., is Karaoke night; Friday night from 7-10 p.m. is open mic and Saturday night from 7 to 10 p.m. is open mic. Musicians looking for a place to play, you are welcome at the Red Barn. Membership is $1 per year. There are potlucks once a month, cake walks, guest bands, a kid’s korner, and more.
Valentine Dinner
The Red Barn will hold a Valentine dinner onâFebruary 14 at 6 p.m. You will have your choice of either lemon pepper chicken breast topped with grilled onions or baked pork tenderloin topped with grilled onions. Both will be served with green beans, corn, dinner rolls, dessert, and drink. Tickets are $8 per person, $15 per couple and are available at the Red Barn, located at 1105 South Street in Heber Springs.
Gental Yoga Class
A gental yoga class for cancer patients, survivors, and their family members will be held at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. This is a free class that will be held every Monday and is appropriate to all levels of ability. The focus will be on the breath and gentle, relaxing poses to promote stress relief and help lessen pain and nausea. Polar Bear Plunge
The coaches from Area 6 are setting up a Polar Bear Plunge to support Arkansas Special Olympics. All donations will go to help the kids and adults participate in the Special Olympics. This plunge will take place at Sandy Beach in Heber Springs on February 21 at 2 p.m.
Dining and Dancing
Enjoy an evening of dining and dancing on Saturday, February 28 at 6 p.m. at the Heber Springs High School cafeteria. Dinner music will be provided by the Heber Springs High Jazz Band. Jazz Xtreme will then be playing. Tickets for both dinner and dancing are $15 per person and may be purchased from any band student, by calling the band office at 362-3141 or 362-2488 or will be available at the door. All proceeds benefit the David Elliot Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Swing Dance Lessons

Nicholas Project
