Cindy Sellers Roach, Community Engagement Manager for Heifer International, recently addressed Rotary Club of Cleburne County. She told the group that the mission of Heifer International is "to work with communities to end hunger and poverty and care for the Earth."
She shared some experiences she had while visiting community projects in Honduras, as the local Rotary Club and District have on-going educational programs in that country. For over 70 years Heifer International has sought to provide on-going, sustainable farming for animals and crops by involving entire communities in the process, all over the world .  For more details visit www.heifer.org.
