The pesticide applicator training session for Cleburne County will be held Thursday, January 26, 6:00 p.m. at the Carl Garner Visitors Center in Heber Springs. Private applicators are individuals who use restricted-use pesticides to produce agricultural commodities for sale, on property owned or rented by them or their employer. Restricted-use pesticides are not labeled for home gardens; therefore, a pesticide license is not necessary for home gardeners.

No preregistration required, simply show up. A $10 per person fee is required and will be payable at the door on the evening of the training. Persons who hold a private pesticide applicator’s license should check for the expiration date. For questions or more information please call the County Extension Office at 501-362-2524.
