Cleburne County Cares (CCC) has reinstated it’s Scholarship Program to residents of Cleburne County who qualify under the CCC Guidelines. These Scholarships pay up to $1,000 per semester for qualifying Cleburne County residents to attend school and receive a Vocational/Technical Certificate. This schooling will lead to training and appropriate skills for a specific job. The mission of the Scholarship Program is to equip citizens of Cleburne County with skills that are marketable in the local workplace, thus achieving self-sufficiency.

CCC has teamed up with ASU-Heber Springs as a training site due to the variety of skills programs available and it’s convenient location for the residents of Cleburne County. However, these scholarships can be awarded at any training site in Arkansas by qualifying Cleburne County residents.

The Chairpersons for this program would like to help you get started. Applications are available at Cleburne County Cares on Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., or at the ASU-Heber Springs Campus during regular school hours. Once the application is completed, please call CCC at 501-362-8486 to schedule an appointment to finalize the scholarship.
