The Easter holiday weekend is upon us people all over Cleburne County will be putting on their new Easter clothes and celebrating. Whether it's hunting eggs, celebrating faith, visiting family, or all of those combined, Easter will be in the air. We've already received reports that the Easter Bunny will be paying a visit to a number of locations around the county.

If you're looking some holiday fun for the kids or yourself, we've compiled a list of Easter events taking place this weekend. While there are probably others not on this list, the following is a compilation of Easter events from organizations that have notified us:

Friday, April 14

Celebration at Seven Springs. 

Seven Springs Rehabilitation and Health (1040 Wedding Ford Rd) in Heber Springs will be holding an Easter Community Celebration at 2 p.m. There will be an Easter egg hunt, hamburgers, and hot dogs. 

Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt 

A community-wide "glow in the dark" Easter egg hunt will be held at the Heber Springs Sports Complex at 11510 State Hwy. 110 West. Activities include inflatables for kids, start at 6:30 p.m. The egg hunt starts at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call First Baptist Church at 501-362-8131.

Saturday, April 15 

Egg Hunt at Pleasant Ridge Baptist 

Pleasant Ridge General Baptist Church in Ida will hold their annual Easter egg hunt at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided.

Easter Party at the Cleburne County Library 

The Cleburne County Library will have an Easter Party at 11:00 a.m.  They will enjoy some sweet snacks, make some cute crafts, and read a fun story.  Each Tuesday and Friday morning, they offer free preschool programs.  Call 501-362-2477 for more information. 

Sunday, April 16 

Annual YBMC Easter Egg Hunt 

The 75th Annual YBMC Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 2 p.m., at Spring Park in Heber Springs. Over 6000 eggs will be prepared and hidden. The Easter Bunny will be present as always to pass out candy and have pictures with the children.

Egg hunt at VFW

The VFW in Tumbling Shoals will have their Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m, along with free prizes and Bingo for the kids.
